Police: Atlanta burglary suspect arrested over 35 times

Atlanta police have arrested a convicted felon for his involvement in a Midtown burglary, and they say this definitely wasn't his first time being arrested.

In all, police say 43-year-old Christopher Bellamy had been arrested more than 35 times.

According to officials, officers were called to an apartment complex on the 100 block of Ponce De Leon Avenue after a burglary.

Video of the burglary obtained by police, the suspect stole two televisions, a bike, and some tools.

The next day, officers were told by an employee of the complex who said that he saw the suspect, later identified as Bellamy.

Police quickly identified and arrested Bellamy, who they said had a crow bar and a hedge trimmer.

Bellamy was charged with burglary, theft and possession of tools to commit a crime. He was also on active probation and had two failure to appear warrants.
