Police: Arrest made in murder of Atlanta grandmother

Atlanta police have made an arrest in a shooting that killed a 59-year-old grandmother.

Terrance Hill has been charged in the murder of Gloria Armour. Police arrested Hill last Friday.

Armour was shot on July 25 on Old Hapeville Road. Police said she was an innocent bystander.

The victim was sitting in her car at the entrance to Summerdale apartments when people in two other cars started shooting at each other.

Armour's family remembers her as a vibrant woman and caretaker. Three of her six grandchildren lived with her.

“My aunt was a very lively and vibrant person. She loved life , enjoyed life and she was the cook of the family,” Gabrielle Starr said.

The family has set up a go fund me account to help with expenses. Anyone wishing to donate can go to gofundme.com/2gfdetsc.
