Police said two teenagers are behind bars Wednesday charged with breaking into 24 cars in one night.

Eric Jernigan, 18, and Autavious Wilson, 17, were in a car April 4 that officers pulled over. Earlier in the night, neighbors saw two teens pulling on car handles and called the police. Officers said the back seat of the car was loaded with items that did not belong to the teens.

Sean Ishihara with Peachtree City Police said there were computers, backpacks, and a subwoofer box in the car, which he said victims had already confirmed were missing.

Officers said three neighborhoods were hit that night, Ridgefield Condominiums, Peachtree Club Condominiums, and the Braelinn Courts subdivision.

Officers are trying to return all belongings back to their rightful owners.
