Suspect shots himself after victim in Atlanta
Atlanta police are investigating a shooting outside a furniture store on Piedmont Road in Buckhead. The suspect reportedly drove away from the scene before turning the gun on himself.
ATLANTA - Atlanta police are investigating a shooting outside a furniture store on Piedmont Road in Buckhead.
FOX 5 learned about the incident Tuesday afternoon.
Police said one man was shot multiple times. At 3 p.m., police said the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Atlanta officers tracked down the suspect's vehicle to Jonesboro Road SE near Midway Street SE.
The suspect appeared to be suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was not alert, conscious or breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither the victim nor the suspect have been identified, and there has been no word on a potential motive.
