Person hit, killed by car in South Fulton

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - South Fulton Police are investigating after a person was hit by a car and killed.

It happened just a couple of hours ago along Flat Shoals Road near Old National Highway.

Investigators say the victim was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk when a vehicle hit him.

He died on the scene.

Authorities say the driver did stop.

There's no word whether any charges will be filed in the case.
