ATLANTA - At least one person has died after a shooting at Piedmont Park on Saturday night, Atlanta police said.
What we know:
Officers were called to a reported shooting around 9 p.m. at 10th Street NE and Taft Avenue on Saturday, according to dispatch records.
Investigators confirmed at least one person died in the shooting.
Debris, including napkins and personal items, was left scattered near the Shake Shack by the park as police blocked off several streets to manage traffic and preserve the scene.
Homicide detectives are leading the investigation.
