Two men are facing charges after leading Doraville Police and Georgia State Patrol on a high-speed chase early Friday morning.

And police are saying the car was stolen.

Around 2:30 a.m. on Friday, troopers said Doraville Police saw a car racing down Georgia State Route 400 toward the Downtown Connector.

"Officers said the driver was driving recklessly and was possibly under the influence," Sergeant First Class Stacey Collins said.

As soon as they tried to pull the driver over, he took off.

It took police four attempts to use the pit maneuver before the driver crashed into the median, ending the chase.

Authorities said no one was seriously injured in the crash.

"There was a male passenger in the car as well," Collins said. "Both the driver and passenger are facing drug charges and I believe the driver has been charged with DUI, reckless driving, among other charges."
