Official: 6 rushed to hospital after major accident in Hall County

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - Six people were injured in an accident Thursday afternoon in Hall County.

It happened along Dawsonville Highway and Lynncliff Drive around 3:30 pm. Fire officials said two people had to be extricated from the wrecked vehicles. One person was flown to Atlanta Medical Center in critical condition. Officials said the other five were rushed to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, three with significant injuries.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene around 4:20 p.m. It spotted crews cleaning up the intersection. A white passenger car was being towed from roadway and a mini van was off to the side of the road. Both appeared to be involved in the accident.
