North Georgia teach indicted for firing weapon in classroom

A North Georgia high school teacher was indicted on several serious charges, including aggravated assault and possession of a weapon at school.

Randal Davidson was accused of barricading himself inside his classroom at Dalton High School in February and firing a shot through a classroom window.

No one was hurt in the incident, but the school was evacuated.

The social studies teacher has been at the Whitfield County Jail without bond since the incident.
