Norcross police issue bear alert

NORCROSS, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The Norcross Police Department has issued a warning to residents after a car hit a bear.

It happened Friday morning on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. at Holcomb Bridge Road.

Police said the bear appeared unharmed and ran back into the woods.

Officers advising everyone in the area to keep their eyes open and pets indoors.
