New Video of Possible Witness May Help Solve Murder

ATLANTA - Atlanta Police want you to take a close look at a man in surveillance video they released on Wednesday in hopes of solving a murder.

Police said someone shot and killed 35-year-old Chauncy King in front of an abandoned car wash in the 1400 block of Campbellton Road last Tuesday. Police now know King was in an argument with someone. They believe the man who enters and exits a store next door to the murder scene, maybe able to shed some light on what happened just before 1 a.m. on October 13th.

"He may be an excellent witnesses. We just need the public's help in identifying him," said Homicide Lt. Charles Hampton.

Hampton said police have no idea whether the man was involved or not.

They want to remind people that names remain anonymous when tips and information come into Crime Stoppers. They also said people who know anything can call Atlanta Police as well.
