ATLANTA - A missing 31-year-old Atlanta woman and her 3-year-old child have been found safe following a search overnight, police say.

Oreanna Meriweather, 31, and her child, Regal Funderburg, 3, had been last seen at her home along Lindsay Street NW, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

Shortly before noon on Tuesday, officials said both Meriweather and Funderburg have been located and are currently in a safe environment.

Police have not shared details about where the mother and son were found.
