Morehouse College Senior Chosen as Rhodes Scholar

ATLANTA - A Morehouse College student has been selected as the institution's fourth Rhodes Scholar. Prince Abudu has been selected to the 2016 International Rhodes Scholar class representing his home country of Zimbabwe.
College officials told FOX 5 News Abudu is the fourth Morehouse student to be selected for the prestigious scholarship to attend the University of Oxford in England. The Morehouse student leader plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and a MBA at Oxford.
Abudu is a Senior Computer Science major who serves as the Operations Leader for Emergination Africa. It's an intercontinental youth-driven mentorship program he co-founded in 2012 to provide resources and guidance to African students transitioning to college.
The Rhodes Scholarship supports students who demonstrate a strong propensity to emerge as future leaders.
Previous Morehouse Rhodes Scholars include Nima Warfield, Christopher Elders and Oluwabusayo “Tope’” Folarin.
