Marvel's Black Panther continues to break records at the box office and a local non-profit made sure Tuesday that kids in the Atlanta community got the chance to experience the film.

The Phoenix Leadership Foundation and other organizations chartered buses to pick up students from 14 different schools in metro Atlanta.

The kids were then treated to a day of all things Black Panther.

The organizations bought out eight screens at Movie Tavern Northlake to show the film.

The co-founder explains what he hopes that young people will take away from the film.

In all, about 725 students participated in Tuesday's Black Panther celebration.

In addition to seeing the film, students were able to experience African drummers and dancers.
