Memorial remembers Georgia's fallen service members
LILBURN, Ga. - A memorial honoring the lives of Georgia service members who have died defending our country since Sept. 11 is in Lilburn this week.
The traveling exhibit is called "Remembering Our Fallen."
Pictured are 210 Georgia-based service members who have lost their lives.
The photo memorial is set up in Lilburn City Hall for people to stop by and pay their respect.
People are encouraged to leave notes for the soldier's families.
"It's an opportunity for people to stop by and see the sacrifice people make. And they city is very honored to have it here," public relations manager Rozalyn Schmitt said.
The memorial has traveled throughout the state.
It was just installed Monday in Lilburn and will be on display until Friday afternoon.
