ATLANTA - Explosions, injuries, and heavy smoke can be expected for those who ride MARTA this Saturday night.
Theatrical explosions, simulated injuries, and produced smoke will all be included in the region's largest emergency preparedness exercise, hosted by MARTA.
The exercise will take place at MARTA's Midtown station 10 p.m. Saturday night and will go through 3 a.m. the next morning.
The goal is to provide real-life training, so first responders are prepared if faced any kind of situation.
About 17 different agencies will be in attendance including federal, state, and local partners.
