Marietta Approves New Soccer Training Facility

MARIETTA, Ga. - Atlanta's new professional soccer team will have a training facility in Marietta.

Atlanta United FC and the Marietta city council have approved the development and landscape plan for the club training ground.

The project represents more than $50 million in new investment.

The training grounds will be located on over thirty acres between Interstate 75 and Franklin Road.

It will include six playing fields and a 28,000 square foot facility.
