Man shot outside northwest Atlanta home

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Atlanta Police are investigating a shooting outside of a northwest Atlanta home.

Officers said a woman was driving on Glenrock Drive Friday evening when a man approached her car claiming that she almost hit him.

According to police, the woman's husband reportedly saw the interaction and walked up.

At some point during the encounter, the husband was shot in the stomach, police said.

He and his wife drove to the Petro Truck Stop on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway where they called the police.

Investigators said they were still searching late Friday night for the gunman. No word on any suspect information.

The name of the victims has not been released.
