Man Shot in Face in Front of Atlanta School

ATLANTA - A man was shot in the face in front of Atlanta school on Wednesday afternoon.

Atlanta Police said the man was found near a bicycle in the 200 block of Griffin Street around 2:30 p.m.

The man, whose name had not yet been released, was found dead by responding officers.

Police are searching for the gunman and a motive behind the shooting.

The man is believed to be in his late teens, according to police.

The school was placed on a softlock down, but was later lifted.
