Man Shot, Grandmother Terrorized in Atlanta Home Invasion

A man was shot in an overnight home invasion that left his grandmother terrorized.

Police said just before 2 a.m. Tuesday five men covered with red bandanas kicked in the door of Jason Houston's home in the 300 block of Tarragon Way in southwest Atlanta. Once inside, the gunmen demanded money and then shot the 32-year-old man.

Hit in the right hip, Houston was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

Luckily's Houston's grandmother, 75-year-old Virginia Houston, wasn't injured but one suspect put a gun to her head and ordered her to stay in a bedroom.

Investigators said Houston was beaten and kicked before they shot him and took $900.

The home invaders escaped in a red sedan. Detectives don't really have a good description because the gunmen had their faces covered during the crime.
