Man sentenced for murder of teenage couple

A judge has sentenced a man to two life sentecesfor killing a teenage couple in Gwinnett County.

A jury convicted 17-year-old Quintavious Walker of killing 18-year-old Jaquille Thomas and his girlfriend, 19-year-old Angelique Bowman.

Investigators said the two teens were shot and killed in the 1600 block of Wandering Way, which is in the Arbors of Jackson Cree subdivision.

Police say they found Thomas dead in the backyard of a home. Ninety minutes later, they disocered Bowman dead inside an SUV. Both had been shot to death.

Police released surveillance video and got tips that led them to Walker, who admitted he shot and killed Thomas, and then said that he knew if he didn't kill, she'd rat him out.
