Man robbed after tree crashes into his apartment

DECATUR, Ga. - Strong storms sent a tree crashing into a DeKalb County apartment building.

Aziz Geretele said he arrived home from work only to find the tree in his living room. The tree fell in the back of the 1,000 building at the East Perimeter Pointe Apartments on Treehills Parkway. It went through the roof, leaving a gapping hold in Geretele's ceiling.  

We were there as he packed up his stuff, because the unit isn't livable.

Making maters worse, Geretele said someone took advantage of his misfortune, breaking into the apartment after the tree came down.  His TV, laptop and cell phone were all stolen.
