Man rescued after tree falls on Atlanta home

ATLANTA - An Atlanta man suffered a broken leg after a tree fell on his home Wednesday morning.

Atlanta Fire Rescue was able to pull the 50-year-old man from his Madrona Street home in northwest Atlanta. A tree crashed down on the house trapping him and his wife.

Officials said his wife was able to get out unharmed.

A neighbor tried to help with a crowbar before fire crews arrived on scene.
