SOUTH FULTON, Ga. - South Fulton are investigating the shooting of a man found critically injured in a car over the weekend.
Police say they responded to a 911 call at a Shell gas station on the 7100 block of Old National Highway on Saturday night.
What we know:
Investigators arrived at the scene and found an injured middle-aged man slumped over in a silver SUV.
Medics rushed the victim to a local hospital in critical condition. His current condition is not known.
Officials say they detained a woman who was a passenger in the vehicle.
Investigators believe the shooting happened on the 3500 block of Kimberly Forest Court. Witnesses told police that another person involved in the shooting fled the area on foot and may have been shot.
