Man found dead near Thurmond Drive in DeKalb County

ATLANTA - Police are investigating after a man was found dead in DeKalb County Tuesday morning. 

The man was found near Thurmond Drive around 6:40 a.m. According to police, it appeared he had been shot. 

Police haven't released the man's identity. 

At this time, there is no description regarding a possible suspect or a known motive.
