Man dies in apartment fire in southwest Atlanta

ATLANTA (AP) - Fire officials say a 64-year-old man has died in an apartment fire in southwest Atlanta.
Atlanta Fire Rescue Sgt. Cortez Stafford tells local news media that the fire occurred around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Venetian Hills Apartments. The victim was found in an upstairs bedroom of the two-story wood frame apartment building
The name of the victim has not been released.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
