Man critically injured after shooting outside nightclub

BESSEMER, Ala. (AP) - A man is in critical condition after a shooting outside an Alabama nightclub.
AL.com reports (http://bit.ly/2pRR3x1 ) that Bessemer police Sgt. Cortice Miles says officers responding to a shooting in the parking lot of The Place about 2 a.m. Sunday found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and lower body.
The man's name and age have not been released. Detectives identified a suspect after recovering a vehicle in the parking lot and several shell casings. The suspect is being held in the city jail, but hasn't been formally charged. Police are withholding his name pending charges.
