Man critical after hit and runs, police seek drivers
MARIETTA, Ga. - Police hope someone saw something the night of October 10 that could help them track down two drivers who hit and critically injured a man.
According to Marietta Police, Juan Ues collapsed in the middle of Franklin Gateway a little bit before 10:30 p.m. Two cars hit him and both drivers left the scene.
"We just want to talk to the driver to find out exactly what took place," said Marietta Police Officer Paul Hill. "They may not have even realized that they hit somebody."
Hill said the first car was a light orange sedan with a blonde, female driver. The second car was a small, silver sedan with dark tinted windows.
Ues remains in critical condition at Kennestone Hospital as of Friday evening.
"You definitely hate for this to happen to anyone and that's why we would like anybody, even if you were driving in the area and you don't think your information's important. Any information can be important to help aid the investigation," said Officer Hill.
