Man charged after soliciting sex from girls on Craigslist

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A man who allegedly posted a Craigslist ad for sex with “young, young girls who wanted to get pregnant” was arrested after he drove to Marietta to have sex with an undercover police officer posing as a 13-year-old girl, according to police.

Marietta Police arrested Terry Crawford on April 28 and charged him with computer/electronic exploitation of a child.

According to a Cobb County Magistrate Court warrant, Crawford allegedly posted a Craigslist ad, titled “Daddy/Daughter,” in which, he asked for young girls wanting to get pregnant to contact him.

An undercover officer posing as a 13-year-old girl responded to Crawford’s ad, prompting an explicit exchange, where he allegedly sent her several pictures of his private parts.

According to the warrant, the communication between Crawford and the undercover officer continued from April 21 until April 28, when he drove from Pine Mountain to Marietta to meet the child for sex.

According to the warrant, Crawford planned to meet up with who he thought was a child when her mother wasn’t home, telling the undercover officer “he was going to make her a woman and get her pregnant."

Crawford is free on bond after being held in the Cobb County Jail.
