ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police said one of the two men seen on video exchanging fire near the Atlanta University Center injuring four students has been arrested.
Isaiah Williams, 21, turned himself into the Fulton County Jail Wednesday afternoon and was booked on aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and criminal attempt to commit murder charges. Atlanta police said Williams turned himself in after investigators secured warrants for the Aug. 20 incident.
Police released video of the two men involved in a fight which escalated into an exchange of gunfire at a block party in front of Woodruff Library. Four teenage girls were injured and taken to an area hospital. They were later released.
Williams is not a student at the Atlanta University Center, police said.
Police were still searching for the second suspect as of Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, Williams is due to make his first court appearance Thursday morning.
