WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A Virginia man accused of kidnapping his wife and daughter is now behind bars in Georgia.

Brandon Deel faces multiple felony charges after a high-speed chase down Interstate 75 that started in Chattanooga.

The chase ended at the Catoosa-Whitfield county line when Deel stopped in the middle of the interstate.

Troopers finally got him out of the car and rescued the wife and daughter.

They weren't hurt.

He faces a list of charges including kidnapping, obstruction, possession of a firearm during a felony, and cruelty to children.
