Water restored after major water main break on Clairmont Road

DeKalb County crews repaired a broken 30-inch water main on Clairmont Road that left hundreds without water service.

What we know:

The Department of Watershed Management said the break occurred at 3325 Clairmont Road near the intersection of Clairmont Terrace.

About 200 customers were without service.

The break was repaired early Saturday afternoon, according to officials. 

What you can do:

The department said customers in the affected area may experience brown water. To fix that, just let the faucets run until they turn clear.
