February is Black History Month, and ridesharing company Lyft is offering a free ride to anyone who wants to check out some popular Black History sites.

The promotion gives riders up to $10 off a ride to black history museum, memorial, or black-owned business in Atlanta.

A Lyft spokesperson told FOX 5:

"With 73% of our drivers in our area identifying with a minority group, we see the importance of celebrating the diversity that we have right around us. As local riders look for ways to learn more about the many contributions Black culture has made to American history, Lyft is using its platform to bring greater understanding, connection, and support to our very own diverse community."

Riders must apply the code "BHMATL19" to get the ride credit.

The discount applies to the following locations in Atlanta:

Atlanta History Center

Atlana University Center Historic District

APEX Museum

Center for Civil and Human Rights

Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Park
