Local photographer attacked at metro Atlanta park

A local photographer says she was attacked by an armed man at a metro Atlanta park.

The woman says the man pointed a gun at her and stole thousands of dollars worth of her belongings Saturday at Whittier Mills Park.

"My brain was preparing me to die," said the victim. "If you scream, I'll kill you." 

The victim was scouting locations for photo shoots when she noticed a man get out of his car with a camera and started to take pictures. According the the victim, the man got back into his car and left. "I was resetting my camera and he came around the corner and put the gun in my face."

The Atlanta Police Department is trying to locate any surveillance video that may have captured the incident, but as of Sunday, authorities do not have any suspects in custody.
