Kindergarten greeter video melts hearts with kindness

KEENE, Texas - A kindergartner in Texas is melting hearts with a simple act of kindness.

Asher was caught on camera participating in his class' daily morning ritual.

Each student is welcomed by name, given a handshake, smile, and sometimes even a hug!

Teacher Ashley Taylor says she started this practice to help build positive interactions between her students.

Taylor also says she's noticed a difference in how her students interact with their peers as well as adults as a result of this small exercise.
