Investigation continues after missing grandmother found safe

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - According to police, Kimberly Moore, mother of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta's Shay Mack, was babysitting her 1-week-old grand-baby when someone apparently ransacked her daughter's DeKalb County home and kidnapped Moore in the process. 

Police said Mack returned to her home on Maplewood Drive about 7:45 Wednesday evening to find both the front and back doors open and her mother gone. She also said the house was ransacked.  

Ms. Moore's car, cell phone, and purse were left at the DeKalb County home, along with the infant.

Police spent hours looking for the missing woman, searching in the air with a helicopter and on the ground with K9 units. Police checked Moore's Cobb County home Thursday morning and she was not there, but around 11 a.m. she somehow appeared and called police right away. 

Detectives are still trying to find out who took Moore from the DeKalb house Wednesday and where she was for 15 hours.
