Hundreds gather for vigil for murdered teen
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - There was a huge turnout in Decatur for a vigil in honor of a 14-year-old girl who was stabbed to death over the weekend.
Hundreds turned out to pay tribute to Shykia Ward-Reese.
The teenager and her mother's boyfriend, identified Tuesday as 35-year-old Manuel De Jesus Franco, were both murdered Sunday inside the Trinity Walk Apartments in DeKalb County.
Her uncle, 36-year-old Royce Alex Stewart, was arrested Monday.
He was charged with two counts of murder and one count of theft by taking.
