A homeless man in Minnesota is no longer homeless thanks to a kindhearted cafe owner.

Last month, Abi's Cafe owner Cesia Abigail shared a picture on Facebook that quickly went viral. She said a man named Marcus came into her restaurant asking for money, but instead she gave him a second chance at life.

According to Cesia's Facebook post, she was short-staffed the day he came in so she decided to offer him a job.

"His eyes opened wide and his smile made my day," she said.

Since Cesia's post has hit social media, Marcus is been doing "very well."

"We found a temporary place for him to stay until we can find a place that will rent to him regardless of his record," Cesia said last week. "He has been doing a great job coming to work on time and is always in a very happy mood talking to guests about his experience."

Marcus is now a part-time employee. To help him sustain permanent housing and find other opportunities, Cesia has created a GoFundMe account to help Marcus out. She said all proceeds will go toward helping Marcus find a permanent home.

So far, more than $7,000 has been raised. If you would like to donate, click here

Cesia's viral post encourages people to do something nice for someone else and to not be judgmental.

"We don't know their situation... some deserve another shot. God gave me this blessing so why can't I bless others? ;p this is what should break the internet, We want change? Well, start by making one."
