It was a special day at SunTrust Park as people got the chance to knock one out of the park while raising money to fight childhood cancer.

Thursday was the inaugural Home Run Derby hosted by former Braves outfielder Jeff Francoeur.

FOX 5 Storm Team's Chief Meteorologist David Chandley was there to emcee and participate in the fun.

Francoeur spent the morning throwing out pitches to guests as they competed to be the home run derby champion.

All proceeds went to the Aflac Cancer Center.

Francoeur said it was a fierce competition for the top spot.

At least two balls were knocked straight out of the park.
