Holiday warning: Package thieves on the hunt

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - It's that time of year again; thieves are targeting packages left on the front steps and porches of homes.

Just like the man caught on tape stealing from Christopher Adams.

The Smyrna homeowner showed FOX 5 News the footage of his thief, captured by family’s security camera last month while Adams was in his backyard.

Cobb County police said Adams is not alone. They have had other such thefts in the area.

Officials suggest using package trackers and app which will push alerts when something is delivered and to always have someone at home at the scheduled time of delivery.
