Health officials: 12 deaths in Georgia from flu
ATLANTA - The Georgia Department of Public Health said Monday 12 people have died from complications of the flu.
Medical experts said the virus is mainly affecting young children and the elderly.
Officials also said more than 400 people have been hospitalized because of the flu so far this season and they said there are still a few more months to go until flu season ends.
They encourage anyone feeling sick to go see a doctor.
Flu season begins in October and can last through May.
