Gwinnett police searching for armed robbery suspect
LILBURN, Ga. - Gwinnett County police are searching for a suspect wanted in the armed robbery of a gas station in Lilburn.
It happened at the Mobile gas station on Indian Trail Lilburn Road on May 18.
Police say the masked suspect walked into the store around 10 p.m., pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash. After a brief struggle, the suspect was able to steal nearly $1,000 from the register before fleeing on foot, police said.
Authorities released surveillance images of the suspect, who is described as a black male, between ages 25 and 35, weighing between 145 and 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a unique black and red jacket.
