“It’s pretty good video, so we’re certain someone knows who they are,” said Gwinnett Police Corporal Michelle Pihera.

The men can be seen walking into Crescent Jewelers inside Sugarloaf Mills in unincorporated Lawrenceville at 11:50 a.m. Monday. According to police, they initially pretended to be customers inquiring about jewelry.

“Within a matter of seconds, one suspect pulled out a hammer and began smashing the glass display cases.  The other suspect reached into the displays, grabbed trays of jewelry and placed them into his bag. Both suspects ran from the store and out of the shopping mall,” said Pihera.

One robber was wearing a maroon jacket. The other one was wearing a black jacket. Both was had on loose-fitting blue jeans as they got away in black Mitsubishi SUV after running out of the Sugarloaf Parkway Mall.
