HALL COUNTY, Ga. - With recent tragic events across our country involving law enforcement officers, an online ministry proposed a thought that resulted in thousands coming together across our nation to support law enforcement.
Beautifully Designed Ministry showed their support for law enforcement through “Back the Blue.”
“Had some bake cookies and make homemade cards with little hand prints,” said Danielle Butler with Beautifully Designed Ministry. “We stuffed little goodie bags with things like bottle water and candy and chewing gum, little snacks.”
Butler said more than 16,000 families participated representing more than 600 cities.
Butler, other mothers and their children surprised Hall County Sheriff’s Deputies Monday, with about 60 bags filled with snacks, water bottles and bible verses.
“We just want them to know that we are for you, praying for you, we are thankful for all that you do,” said Butler.
Deputies said these kind acts are becoming more regular and that on Friday someone anonymously donated lunch and dinner from a local BBQ restaurant for the entire department.
“I am appreciative to live in a community that is filled with loving, caring people,” said Lt. Scott Ware with the Hall County Sheriff's Office. “Citizens bringing food and saying thank you for what you do means the world to all of us.”
