Gov. Nathan Deal honored by Atlanta City Council

An honor for Georgia’s outgoing governor.

The Atlanta City Council Monday afternoon honored Governor Nathan Deal with a special proclamation.

The council recognized deal for his achievements as the state's 82nd governor, including his reform of Georgia's criminal justice system.

City Council Member Michael Julian Bond presented the proclamation.

Deal will leave office next Monday after two terms when Republican Brian Kemp will be sworn as Georgia's next governor.
