Gov. Deal signs law targeting school zone speeders

Georgia will soon target drivers who speed through school zones.

Tuesday afternoon, Governor Nathan Deal signed off on a bill that gives the green light on speed cameras in school zones.

The cameras will automatically ticket drivers going at least 10 miles per hour over the speed limit.

Tuesday marked the deadline for Deal to sign or veto a number of bills.
