Thirty Red Cross volunteers from Georgia are headed to North Carolina to help in the response to Hurricane Florence.

The Red Cross has already sent supplies including cots, blankets, toiletries, first aid kits, and basic cleaning supplies.

The next step for workers is helping residents figure out what they can do next.

The Georgia volunteers plan to stay at least two weeks.
