Nearly $2 million awarded to replace and upgrade school buses in Fulton County
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Environmental Protection Agency awarded the Fulton County School District nearly $2 million to replace and upgrade school buses.
The district is being recognized for its efforts to reduce diesel emissions near schools.
In January, 402 new propane-powered school buses will make their debut.
That covers more than half of the buses in the system.
