Fire causes extensive damage to Gwinnett County business

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A fire in unincorporated Lawrenceville caused extensive damage to a business after flames and smoke spread throughout the building, according to the Gwinnett County Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to ALLSTAR Logistics on Buford Drive around 7 a.m. Sunday. Crews found the fire in a metal automotive building and used forced entry by cutting a metal roll-up door to gain access.

There was no one at the business when crews arrived, and no injuries have been reported, according to officials.

Investigators say the fire originated in the break room and may have been sparked by an electrical source. However, the exact cause is undetermined and under investigation.
