Fayetteville firefighters hike Stone Mountain on 9/11

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - A touching tribute took place on Friday in honor of the firefighters and police officers who died on September 11, 2001. 

Fayetteville firefighters, dressed in full gear, climbed Stone Mountain Friday morning. The men carried an American flag all the way to the top, then paused for a moment of reflection.

One firefighter said the ceremonial hike not only honored the fallen, but also builds moral within their family of first responders.
